Denise at All Things Stamped is hosting a week-long Spring Break Challenge. She’ll be posting a challenge a day and you have to complete all five to be eligible for her fun giveaway. You have until midnight tonight, so get out your bird stamps and join the fun. You also need to add at least one layer and some ribbon.
I don’t have many birds in my collection, so I inked up this one from my new Stampin’ Up Always set using the sketch from My Paper World. I added the three tiny flower and saw that the other corner needed an accent … note to self, don’t try to stamp on a layer that you have attached to your card with pop dots. It didn’t stamp clearly, so I just stamped it several times and went with the messy look.
I also broke out my Martha Stewart branch stamp for the Bringing It Back challenge to use some of your funky shape punches.
This one isn’t the oldest in my stash, but it is one that I can’t quite figure out what to do with it other than make a wreath … but it does make a cool wreath. One more holiday card done for 2008.
Check out Deb’s card raining punched tulips.
I LOVE this card and this is one of my favorite birdies!!! Thanks for playing too…keep playing all week.
Beautiful blues on the bird card – and love the wreath made of punches!
Your bird card is so beautiful. I have a real problem with monochromatic, but you hit the nail on the head.

You have some really pretty cards here! The bird one is so springlike and the punched one is lovely.
What about using the punches to make a chain for something? Or using half a punch to fill a corner? Or use it as a leafy crown for someone? Just suggestions!
fabulous card, love the colours and beautiful bird stamp
Beautiful cards! Great work!
Both are beautiful cards. I love the bird stamp.
