Sending You Smiles

Today’s featured stamper on SCS is StampOwl.  I chose her Ginko Two Step Card for my inspiration.

I stayed with a two-color palette but changed it to chocolate and soft pink.  Rather than creating the background with stamps, I chose this softly patterned DP scrap that I got in a 6×6" grab bag. 

I stamped Inque Boutique Savior Faire Mini Bella Flora on two corners of the background piece.  I have several more of these fun little stamp sets on my list … so fun & affordable.

Penny Black’s Gams is stamped in ColorBox Dark Brown on the same DP.  I didn’t have any brads that were dark enough to match my chocolate metallic cardstock from the Paper Company, so instead I stamped a sentiment from Verve Visual’s Thoughtful Phrases … another inexpensive versatile set.
