Beate’s weekend sketch is an easy layout that can feature a larger image like this fun Great Impressions stamp I picked up in LaCrosse this weekend. I stamped it with Brilliance Graphite Black on ivory cardstock, colored with Prismacolor Pencils, and added a little Sakura glitter pen to the butterfly’s trail.
The papers are from new K&Company Wild Saffron designer papers. The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up Tagger’s Dozen stamped with Marvy Matchables #30 (a nice teal/turquoise dye ink).
I positioned the image a little lower than the sketch to allow more of the butterflies on the DP to show. I like the repeating butterfly images in the DP and both stamps.
