This is a simple little card for Beate’s Weekend Sketch Challenge #23. I really like 4 1/4" square cards now that the cost of mailing the larger square cards has increased. I also like how the small area really brings the focus to the image. This Stampendous Ruffled Bloom was colored using a blending pen and two colors of purple ink. I colored over the center and edges with a Sakura glitter pen to add a little bling.
I added layers to coordinate with the DCWV glitter mat stack cardstock which forms the card base. The sentiment is from Studio G $1 stamp set from Michael’s (which I store in three ring binders using page protectors for trading cards).
It’s a rainy, dreary day here, which is perfect weather for hanging out in the studio … after a trip to the gym of course :^)
