Embossed Magenta Medallion

Fs36wm1Today’s SCS Featured Stamper is Tammy (StamperTammy).  My inspiration was her fun Stipple Flower card.

To create the same effect as the Stipple Flower stamp, I stamped this Medallion by Magenta in Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder (well, it was supposed to be clear, but apparently due to my failure to clean my embossing tray completely, it now includes various grains of other colors which thankfully didn’t affect this design).  Does anyone know a good US source for Magenta stamps?  I love their designs, but we no longer have any local stores that carry them.

I trimmed the squares to 1 3/4" and attached them to a white cardstock background.  I changed the color combination, but kept the design elements the same based on the new colors.  I stamped the Medallion repeatedly in Versamark on the blue strip to provide a little more texture.  The sentiment was stamped using Black Staz-On.

This card is also for the Pink Ribbon challenge at Saturday Stampers.

It’s always funny to me the things I never notice until I begin to edit my photos.  This Medallion is actually slightly oval.  Can you tell which Medallion is attached in a different direction?

Ingredients: Inks: ColorBox Chalk Amber Clay, Prussian Blue, Olive Pastel and Rouge, Black Staz-on, Versamark; Papers: Gold handmade paper, White, Blue Bayou, Olive Cardstock; Stamps: Magenta Medallion, Studio G Thinking of You; Accessories: Paper Clip, Pink Ribbon, Somewhat clear embossing powder.
