As a Stampin' Up demonstrator, I was able to place a pre-order from the new catalog (you'll be able to order in June). I seldom order die cuts that require assembly, but when I saw this adorable little crate, I couldn't resist. I die cut it twice from the new Wood Textures Designer Series Paper … Read more
I thought the Doily Challenge at the Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog (I have a serious collection of doilies, so using my stuff was a good theme for me) worked perfectly with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch … doesn't that big circle just scream DOILY. I had these fun rainbow hued ombre doilies in my … Read more
I love the inspiration photo at Hand Stamped Sentiments. I stamped my Stampin' Up Sending Thoughts Sentiment on kraft paper (to give the feel of wood grain) and then surrounded it with flowers. I added paper flower accents and some champagne pearls to finish the design using this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch.
I made a few more projects as part of my review for the new MISTI Creative Corners (PS there's a coupon if you click through and check out the reviews). This card features the new Stampin' Up Crazy Cake. With the MISTI, it was so easy to line-up all of my layers … and I … Read more

Lately I've been having Saturday morning insomnia, so I've been making the best of it by being productive and napping later. It's amazing how quickly you can get your grocery shopping done at 5am … I was zooming through the aisles. And now that I'm home and everything is put away, I'm making cards until … Read more
I've been having lots of fun in my studio today while I watch the snow fall. For the 9th Tag of Christmas with a Feminine Twist, the theme is White. The color inspiration comes from these lovely holiday scenes. Rather than focus on Christmas Trees … I decided to focus on Santa. I die cut … Read more
When I saw the sketch for Day 7 of the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist, I had to laugh since the Tag I made on Day 3 actually used the sketch (sometimes I feel like I have crafty premonitions). I had several ideas for the stripes, but in the end I went with … Read more
