I got behind on my holiday cardmaking in 2025, which led to me having to make more than I preferred in December, so I’m getting a head start this year.
When I saw the image at the {PIN}spirational Challenge, I had an immediate idea.
The shape of the pillows reminded me of Peanuts wrapping paper I had in my stash. I detail cut three of the characters and lined them up like the pillows on the couch using foam tape for Charlie Brown (or Chuck in this case) for a bit of dimension. Marcy & Peppermint Patty were always my favorites.
I looked for plaid paper that would work with the colors and ultimately settled for stripes (which is half of plaid, right) … the colors worked perfectly with the colors of the characters.
I finished with a Taylored Expressions Simple Strips – Christmas that was already stamped in my stash (the one fun thing about those stamps is that you stamp & die cut one time, and then have plenty for multiple cards).
