This week's SCS Inspiration Challenges comes from the wonderful Inspiration Daily entries from Creature Comforts. I chose this wonderful picture & color palette from 06-14-11 to inspire my design.
I loved the muted yellow and brown tones, together with the idea of the music of the sea inside a sea shell.
I used beautiful new Lost & Found Sunshine papers from My Mind's Eye together with stamps from Rogue Redhead Designs' Beach Babes & Relish Reading plates … I love that quote … such a great reminder of the things we miss out on if we stay too close to the shore.
My card is also for the CAS-ual Friday Challenge to make a Monochromatic Card with three shades of one color (in my case yellow) + brown.
